Intermodal Logistics is a joint venture business between Tuchschmid Constructa AG, designers and manufacturers of innovative intermodal transhipment equipment in Switzerland, and Directors of Bisham Consulting, the UK transport and supply chain consultancy.

By combining the manufacturing and design skills of Tuchschmid Constructa AG with the operational expertise and experience of Bisham Consulting we are able to offer a range of products that will add value and improve the environmental performance of supply chains by the application of new intermodal techniques.

Derek Bliss

Chairman and Managing Director

Derek manages the Sales and Marketing function as well as leading the business. He has had extensive experience in intermodal logistics from his previous role as Head of Road Transport Services for Royal Mail, and research work into alternative freight transport systems for cities. He is Chairman of the CILT Sustainable Distribution Forum.

Richard Nägeli

Director

As Managing Director of the Tuchschmid Group of Companies in Switzerland, Richard represents the wider interests of Tuchschmid Constructa AG in the Intermodal Logistics business.

Derek Bell

Director
Derek is also Managing Director of the supply chain consultancy business, Bisham Consulting. Prior to forming Bisham Consulting, he was Managing Director of P&O Distribution and brings a wealth of transport experience to the business. He is a CILT Board Director and a Director of the European Logistics Users Providers and Enablers Group (ELUPEG).

Derrick Stormink

Technical Director

As Project Manager of Tuchschmid Constructa AG, Derrick has extensive experience in intermodal terminal design and construction. He also leads the technical development of ACTS for Tuchschmid throughout Europe.
